When you start asking how art can change a person’s life — or a community, or the world — we connect, we see what’s possible, and we begin moving differently together.
My work has taken me from ancient caves to contemporary museums, from directing galleries to researching sacred feminine sites, and into large-scale public art systems — helping Judy Chicago install at SFMOMA, supporting Dale Chihuly projects around the world, and even receiving an unexpected oracle reading from Swoon.
For 25+ years, I’ve moved between artist studios and institutional boardrooms — shaping exhibitions, negotiating contracts, advising collectors, and architecting cultural initiatives, including Seattle’s 4-day event focusing on the American Studio Glass Movement.
I’ve learned to recognize patterns that shape creative authority — and how to guide ambitious projects with clarity and strategic alignment — activating economic vitality for artists, momentum for institutions, and cultural impact that communities return to again and again.
This work extends beyond individual projects.
On Female Frequency Podcast, I explore this question with trailblazing artists, activists, and spiritual leaders shaping culture in real time:
What shifts when we trust the intelligence of our creativity?

“Jodie understood the importance of our project. She helped Refract realize over 70 events with museum exhibitions, fine art gallery shows, hotshop demonstrations, art center experiences, and open studios within the world’s most renowned artists working with the creative modes of glass.”
